League Requirements for Membership  


Financial:

1. Entry Fee: There will be a $50.00 entry fee per team. It must be paid no later than one week before the start of the season.

2. Kitty: Each week, each team will contribute $12.00 toward the kitty, regardless of the number of players on the team. The kitty fund is used to provide prizes, trophies and the banquet/picnic at the end of the season.

3. Officers' Gratuity: All officers will receive $200.00 for their time and effort during the course of the season.

4. No Show: Fine is $50.00 to be paid to the home team to compensate them for food preparation. The team that does not show up pays half ($25.00) and the league will pay the other half.

Administrative:

1. Scheduled Matches: Matches will be played every Wednesday.

2. Match Roster: The match roster must be complete and finalized by 8:30 p.m. If a player is unavailable for his/her turn (in a reasonable amount of time), the game is forfeited.

3. Visiting Team: The visiting team will get the table for 30 minutes before the start of the match, provided they arrive on time.

4. Availability of Table and Practice Time: The home team is responsible for providing a free table or quarters for the match and 30 minutes of practice time.

5. Supplies: The home team must provide a clean table, hand chalk, cue chalk and an adequate number of cue sticks. Complaints from the visiting team will be dealt with accordingly.

6. Table Team Limits: Establishments are limited to two teams per house table.

7. Reporting Scores: Score sheets must be kept and called in by the home team no later than noon the following day (Thursday). Failure to do so will result in a $15.00 fine payable at the next league meeting. Home team score sheets must be signed by each team captain and turned in at the next league meeting.

8. Team Rosters: Team rosters must be turned in at the first League meeting after the season starts Rosters are limited to one captain and twelve players.

Sportsmanship:

1. Conduct: Fighting or harassment will not be tolerated. Violators will be asked to leave the establishment. Spectators of the player will be barred from the establishment for the season during matches. If not enforced, the opposing team wins the next game. If still not enforced, the opposing team wins the match by forfeit.

2. Persistent Conduct Problems: If continual problems occur, the violating team will be expelled from the league.

3. Barred Players: If any member of a team is barred from an establishment, the team must play without the barred player.
